Mobile user interface techniques: Rotation and 3D perspective

Rotation or accessing a 3-dimensional image in a 2-dimensional space is useful if you are trying to display a product or any object that needs to be ''walked around'' in order to get a sense of shape, size or spatial relationships. Rotation is very useful for mobile commerce because on such a small screen it's very difficult to examine a product and it's very difficult to get a sense of its size or shape. By being able to examine it from multiple angles a consumer can get a much better idea of a product in a tiny space.
