Industry Specific R&D - Pocket Radiologist

Pocket radiologist is an application that gives the user the ability to choose various x-rays and examine them from a remote location. Since we initially conducted this research, we found that there are similar trials being deployed and radiologists are now using mobile devices to do radiology consulting when they are outside of a hospital. This allows medical costs to be reduced because it removes the requirement of going into a specific office or location to review patient scans. It also improves a patient's experience and well being as it allows a diagnosis to occur more quickly than usual.
