The object rotator example is a prototype design to showcase three dimensional visualization capabilities on a mobile device. This project is the result of studies performed by the medical insurance industry commission that showed patients who have a favorable relationship with their doctors and who understand the procedure that's about to be performed are much less likely to sue their doctor. This type of a mobile application is a perfect presentation aid when educating a patient in a situation where other visual aids are unavailable or the timeline is critical. The object rotator shows you a 3-d visualization of the bones in the pelvis. Instead of relying on a plastic model of a pelvis in their office, a doctor can explain a potential injury to their patient with a mobile device that they happen to always carry with them.
